Howdy! Welcome to my page. I’m Hansen, a first-year Masters student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington.

I also completed my BS degree in statistics with honors at the University of Washington. My senior thesis is titled Estimating Relative Risk and was advised by Thomas Richardson.

I’m passionate about theory motivated by real world problems. The topics that generally interest me include statistical & population genetics, epidemiology, causal inference and estimation theory. My journey into the world of statistics is just beginning, so don’t hesitate to contact me with interesting conversation, new topics or fun opportunities!
